Houdini AI Photo Editor ("Houdini," "we," "us," or "our") explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our iOS app.
When you use Houdini, you may choose to provide content to the app, including photos, text prompts, selected styles, generation options, and generated outputs.
We collect this content only when you choose to provide it or initiate an AI generation. Houdini does not automatically collect or upload your photo library.
We process user-provided content only to create the AI result you request, display your original uploads and generated results in your history, troubleshoot issues, provide customer support, operate the app, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Houdini does not collect face data as a separate category of biometric data. We do not create, collect, or store biometric identifiers, faceprints, face templates, face geometry, facial recognition data, or Face ID data.
If you choose to upload a photo that contains a face, the face may be visible within the uploaded image. We process this user-uploaded content only as necessary to provide the AI generation features you request, display your original upload and generated result in your history, troubleshoot issues, provide customer support, maintain app functionality, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use face-related information to identify you, authenticate you, create a faceprint, perform facial recognition, track you, target advertising, or sell your data.
We may collect limited technical information such as device type, app version, and interaction events (e.g., feature usage) and/or crash logs to help improve reliability and performance.
If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide, such as your email address and message contents.

When you request an AI generation, Houdini may send the content you choose - including your selected photo, prompt, style, generation options, and generated outputs - to third-party AI processing providers, including OpenAI and Google.
We send this content only as necessary to create the AI result you requested, operate the app, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.
We do not share user-provided content with third parties for advertising, tracking, biometric identification, facial recognition, or independent profiling.
Third-party service providers that process user data are required to provide the same or equal protection for user data as described in this Privacy Policy.
Uploaded photos and generated images are retained only as long as necessary to provide the service and operate the app. We may delete uploaded photos and generated images periodically. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Uploaded photos, videos, text prompts, selected styles, generation options, and generated outputs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App's core features, including user history, customer support, troubleshooting, safety, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
We do not create or retain biometric identifiers, faceprints, face templates, face geometry, Face ID data, or facial recognition profiles.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access or delete certain information. To request deletion or ask questions, contact us at: hello@tryhoudiniapp.com
You choose whether to provide photos, prompts, styles, or other content to Houdini. Before your selected content is sent to third-party AI processing providers, the app displays an AI Processing Notice and asks you to continue.
If you tap Cancel or do not continue, your selected content is not sent for AI processing.
You may request deletion of your uploaded content and generated outputs by contacting us at hello@tryhoudiniapp.com.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time by posting an updated version and changing the "Last updated" date.
